quality public schools are the
bedrock of a vibrant democracy. I believe through our collective voice --- no matter if we are black, white, or brown, no matter our job title, zip code, or who we love---together we can advocate for the safe, supportive, and rigorous schools our students deserve.

FOR OUR FUTURE WE MUST

Continue to evolve into an organizing-based union rooted in racial, social, and economic justice.​

Grow WEAPAC and members’ political engagement because every aspect of public education is political.

Stabilize WEA’s budget so we are prepared for the future.

Develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of leaders to build local capacity.

Develop the knowledge skills and attitudes of rank and file members to be able to organize their buildings and work sites to build power.

Build deeper relationships within the union in the service of equity and union solidarity.

Ensure all ESPS earn a professional wage.
